Frequently asked questions

How does the income goal planner work?

It divides your monthly income goal by your earnings per 1,000 pageviews (RPM) to find the pageviews you need, then converts that into visitors, daily traffic and the number of articles required.

What RPM should I use?

Use the page RPM from your AdSense report if you have one. If you are just starting, treat the default as an example and try a few lower values to see a cautious plan.

How many visits does one article get?

It varies a lot. Many articles get very little traffic, and a few bring most of it. That is why the planner lets you change the monthly visits per article, so you can test cautious and optimistic cases.
